How did we reach the point where Tumblr, notorious for its porn bots, is one of the most bot free places on the internet? Everywhere else is dying we are thriving. Good work lads, ladies, and lovers, with these rent lowering gunshots we can continue to make this the neighborhood with the worst reputation that's the best place to live. Not because it's good, but because not all of our neighbors are cookie cutter machines made to sell us something. When I get into an argument with an uneducated seventeen year old with a persecution complex I can rest easy knowing that they are a real person that I am metaphorically beating with my fully developed brain like a baseball bat.

Just a quick reminder to all my fellow writers, and other creatives, that perfectionism is the breeding ground for procrastination.

One of the quickest ways to overcome that creative block, and to actually start getting stuff done on your project, is to stop striving for perfection.

No piece of art, no novel, and no music can ever be perfect. No piece of art needs to be perfect.

Strive for passion, enjoyment, and improving yourself instead. Stop thinking and feeling like everything you do needs to be perfect (whole lot easier said than done, but it’s one of the best roadblocks to overcome) .

Hey guys, so I might be taking a break from Tumblr for a bit (just a couple days) I’ll still take messages. I’ve just noticed that I have been on for roughly 3 hours a day, and I don’t think that’s healthy. I counted and I’ve made over 60 posts/reblog this month (17 days) and my blog’s starting to be a bit cluttered.
