IMPORTANT CHANGES/ANNOUNCEMENTS!
Firstly, we want to thank everybody for their valuable input in our group discussion last night/this morning - we've taken everything on board, and discussed the finer details with a smaller group this morning, and have come to some agreements that we feel will be very helpful for the group as a whole moving forward.
Currently, we have 72 muses in the group, but only 22 members. We agree that this is a bit excessive, so propose the following:
We are, at this time, inviting everybody to "cleanse" their muses - this means you are welcome to drop any muses to help you with your "workload" on the dash going forward—this is not supposed to be "work", after all. To add, you are welcome to drop any muse at any time, but we think encouraging a small purge right now will be beneficial with the rest of this post taken into consideration, and encourage you only to bring/keep those you will be able to be active on and develop.
From now on, there will be two sections of the application count: a "new member" section and a "current member" section. New members are welcomed in on either acceptance day (Wednesday or Sunday), while current member applications will only be accepted on Sundays. This will ensure more time for people to flesh out their current muses before working on any others. Additionally, current members may only apply for one muse at one time.
Current members with more than five characters are now on a temporary muse freeze, in which we won't be accepting further muses from you at this time. We will lift this shortly, but for now we feel adding new muses will be detrimental to overall activity and development.
There is now a starter limit of two starters per member per week. The week will run from Sunday-Sunday. It is up to you whether you spread the starters out between muses or post both on one, but two is the maximum. Please note it is not a requirement for you to post any starters if you don't want to! Just make sure that if you do, it's no more than two per week.
This is not a new addition, but we want to call everyone's attention to starters and remind you to reply to all recent starters in the tag, and especially those with fewer notes. As admins, we will repost any starters in the allocated discord channel that we feel aren't getting enough attention, but also remind you to continue to link your own starters in there when you make them.
We know this was a very long post, but we do hope everybody will read it and comply. If each member could reply to this post letting us know you have read and understood, that would be fantastic.
As for our muse purge, please message the main with any characters you would like to drop at this time, and we'll post the unfollow list later today.
We hope you all feel seen, heard and appreciated here at Privilege, and we can't wait to see how the group progresses moving forward! We have a bunch of tasks, prompts and events coming up, and we hope you're as excited for them as we are.
