Raiden was out in the inner garden standing still as a statue. He could still smell the blood of his clan and his own mixed there. This was where Lucien had caught him. He’d head the man was here and come to rip his heart out as he had so man others, but the’s missed the master as he always seemed to, sure he could sense him. Vengeance was his modus operandi. It would be until he saw that vampire buried and the rest of them could follow in that stead for all he cared. He would play guard at this castle until the he located Lucien once more.
Sick of the taste of the air he turned to head back to the undercroft knowing his shift was about to start. He paid no mind to the figure approaching him. Vampires roamed around, they had the right, they were masters. That didn’t mean Raiden had to like them and he didn’t. Despised them. Knew he was stronger if he’d not been collard, if he’d not been made a wolf by one of their own. Soulless dead things, their blood like a poison to him.
The vampire hadn’t broken any rules so the guard just ignored him. He had no reason to engage the other. Instead he kept on his way to the undercroft deciding what flavor of slave he was in the mood for.
