amusing myself comparing old art to new... TJ's come a long way from 2022... (granted, the ballistic goggles + civilian clothes are still "canonically" his first pseudo-costume, but the art is definitely rough around the edges...) I'm pleased with the redo for his actual costume
...this one really isn't that different lol, mostly just different angles and a comparison of the original sketch concept and the cleaned up version I did later.
...this one is very different! featuring a concept from 7 years ago... Veritas actually predates scratchverse, originating as a superhero AU for Qela, but I decided to bring her into this setting since she's a useful character (and I like her 💖)
Realizing I really don't draw Seth often enough, though you can still tell I've got a much better handle on their face now. Originally the long hair was meant to be a "they grow it out" situation but I'm considering going for the long hair from the start, just because I think it's cute.
TJ was originally kind of a throwaway token white boy, but you can definitely see hints of the true character in that early art. He's gotten much rounder and softer now, as I've drawn him more and more over the past year 💕 (has it really only been a year?? jesus christ)
Honestly, not a lot of change for Lilith. I only designed her last year in the first place so like, mostly I've just been practicing my ability to draw her nose from different angles LOL — but neither she nor my art in general have changed a huge amount since last summer.
