I felt this was appropriate here because of the context but also most of the people I followed for FF are posting Among Us stuff now, but as someone on the older end of my teens I feel damn old with all these 13 year olds and they’re MEAN, but anyway here’s the best lobby of wholesome, “everyone liked that”

Fellas... I am once again going to apologize

I know I’ve established that my blog activities entirely hinge on what my interest spike is in right now, I just feel really bad leaving the blog unattended because the Fossil Fighters community is fabulous, I love you guys and don’t want to stop making content it‘s just my interest... really isn’t present right now. This blog is by no means dead, it’s just kind of... on hold until Fossil Fighters takes center stage among my interests again if that makes sense? This fandom has been incredibly good to me and I could never just leave it.

So for the like fifteenth time I apologize for my sporadic ways of blog running. Right now my Rhythm Heaven blog @tapswitcher-theoneandonly is where I’m ruffling around right now but I swear once this interest comes back I’ll be back!!

This is a really good Rupert moment. I love his character development and replaying this game now that I’m older, this moment really got my heart considering everything that’s built up to this moment.

I love Rupert so much as a character because he (and all the other Champions main cast for that matter) has this fantastic growth and this is just him completely shedding the image his father built for him to just be a happy teenage boy who loves fossil fighting just like he did when I was a kid. Rupert has a lot of good dialogue in the game expressing that growth and seeing him so excited was really rewarding.

So first of all I just wanted to say that I have gotten so many new followers what??? At least 15 new followers are on this blog and what are y’all here for?? What prompted it?? Who ARE you??

Secondly I wanted to say my hiatus might unfortunately be extending... surgery happened and in post op right now I’m not good for much other than playing DS games and Skyrim right now. I’m really sorry for the long disappearance especially with so many new folks following me (which I am like, so floored about) but unfortunately my surgery has kind of thrown a monkey wrench in my plans of returning sooner.

Real talk love the Fossil Fighters community, I’ve only been active for a short while but this is a really nice and tightly knit community. I love how the entire fandom is so supportive of each other, it’s a really pleasant place to be and it provides a lot of joy for me to not only share my own artwork with a community me from a few years ago was pretty sure didn’t exist, but just browsing the FF tag and seeing the content everyone out there has made. I feel really welcomed and connected despite only being here a short time.

A random Dino headcanon that I have is that he’s selectively mute and usually talks through sign language unless he’s super comfortable with someone like Todd, but because so few people know sign language there’s times where Dino just loses his filter entirely and starts signing wild insults at people who really piss him off (mainly Rupert’s father every time they meet) and Todd has to interpret incorrectly like “oh yeah... um... he says he’s pleased to meet you and uh... he’s excited to tell you about his vivosaur team...? yeah that...” while Dino makes direct and intense eye contact with whoever the offending person is and relentlessly rakes them over the coals through sign language
