Does anyone who went to PTHC 2014 remember the name of/belong to the Jewish Trans group that they mentioned? Please private message me if you've got it, thanks!

the philly trans health con was awesome because i spent three days hanging out with rad trans ladies and trans folks from the west coast who i haven't seen in a while - and i drank more than a pint of whiskey each day. but the con itself was a little... ok, so like at the health and fitness one, two dudes talked about how easy it is to work out. when my friend spoke up about how gyms are expensive and leaving the house means getting harassed big time, this man literally and unjokingly suggested that she could work out by vacuuming her house. so like, it was kinda like that.
All the trans boys I met who pointed out the misogynistic tendencies at PTHC made me so happy
Is it Sunday already?
Philly Trans Health Conference Thursday- Saturday (SO AWESOME), now running errands with Liz to get ready for Firefly, then getting dinner with her dad for Father's Day.
Anyone going to Firefly? We'll be camping Wednesday to Sunday. So excited!!!
The Philadelphia Trans Health Conference was an excellent experience, as always.
The Philly Trans* Health Conference was absolutely rad as shit. I met kickass people and had great conversations. It really helped me get to the point now where I'm a little more open about my identity with people outside of that community. I'm also going to be a lot more vocal about standing up for myself and my identities, and trans* stuff in general. tl;dr I'm fucking trans*, and I kick ass
saturday, 6:03 pm: presenter in the "trans stories in scifi" workshop, when asked about poc representation in the stories being discussed, asked "do orange people with tiger stripes count as people of color"
