"Kind of a jerk, hes so pompous and full of himself, but its actually kind of an act to hide the insecurities and PTSD he got from leading a group of other dinosaurs to their deaths back when everyone was trying to find the Great Valley, and being subsequently banished for that. Like yeah he commits some kidnapping and whatever in the movie, but he ends up saving Ducky and all the other kids when he finds out his coveted magic rock isnt actually magic at all and thats pretty cool of him I think. Also his voice actor delivers a top notch performance throughout the movie, its fantastic."
