A: What do you have in your shirt? B: *Hiding an obvious bulge in their sweater* Well there’s a funny story about that...*Sweater mews loudly* A: B, we talked about this. B: I know but it was shivering in the snow and I couldn’t just leave it! There’s a storm coming, it would die. Besides... *B removes a kitten that has the same hair/eye color as A* B: It kind of reminds me of you... A: *Staring at the cat who is somehow looking at him pleadingly.* Fine, we can keep him until the storm is over. B: Yes! Thanks A! A: Don’t thank me yet, we aren’t keeping it after that. There are too many things in our home for it to get injured on. *A Few Days Later* A thinks on how happy B is with the new kitten, the small thing constantly following behind her everywhere. B had lost a beloved family member earlier that month and had been down, the past few days had been the most smiles they had seen out of them in the last month. Reluctantly, A admits that he also likes the cat after it started perching on his shoulder and purring. A tells B that they can keep it, to B’s delight.
B: We can name him now! A: You are not naming it after me. B: Spoil sport. How about (Insert Pet Name)? A: Yes, that will work fine. Now then, if we are to keep it then we should go out and purchase the necessary supplies. Shall we? B: Yeah, just let me grab my coat!
