First One too Contributes!
I pity that ignorant last mug of water
for that attitude filled with arrogance!
I found that odd behaviour so aghast
as that mug blinded by small success
of filling a bucket fully up to the brim
became so arrogant jibing silly claims
that the bucket is got filled b’coz of it
thus thought nothing to acknowledge
even once of contribution of the drop
that trickled down first in that bucket
thus started the process to fully fill it
but didn’t think of any need to boast
or could be shy to make such claims!
It’s only the first brick that took risk
to lay in the foundation of a building!
But for that first one’s bold initiative
there wouldn’t have moved anything
There wouldn’t ever be such praises
that are being sung for the last brick!
