Hey guys, we made an Instagram account! -M
PTXblog is getting remodeled!
We are updating the layout and design of PTXblog, so it may look strange for the next few days while we are working out all the details. We will let you know when it is done and you guys can tel us what you think! -M
Hello Pentaholics,
Monique (PTXblog admin) here. After an extremely long hiatus on this blog I’ve finally decided that the best thing for me to do at this point would be to pass PTXblog along to other passionate and dedicated fans who can carry on with what once was the mission of this blog: to provide news and information about Pentatonix to Pentaholics everywhere.
PTXblog had a great run and I’m personally very proud of all that it was able to achieve. I am so thankful for those who stepped in to help manage it over the last few years. As much as I love this blog and our fandom (I still do!!), I have to admit that I simply do not have the time to assume full responsibility for it. However, I would like to see the legacy of PTXblog maintained, and I think this is much better than allowing the blog to sit around, abandoned.
So, with that being said, if you are interested in becoming an admin of PTXblog, see below the cut for more details.
i see that this blog hasn't been updated in three months. is everything alright?
Hey there! Thank you so much for your concern, I realize that having not been active on this blog for a while could have made some folks worried. In short, I’ve been on a hiatus of sorts with PTXblog. Life got fairly busy the past semester and I fell behind in keeping up with it. For that I do apologize. I am not giving up on the blog just yet and I do promise that it will be back in full swing sometime in the future. When exactly, I can’t say. But I will more than likely be in the process of finding new admins to assist in the day-to-day activities of running PTXblog. Thanks to everyone for the support, all of you mean the world to me. If you want to keep up with myself in particular, you can follow me on my personal tumblr / twitter. Also, if you participated in The Pentaholic Choir last time around or are interested in participating this time, I am currently working on that project with several other pentaholics! You can follow us here: tumblr / twitter / facebook.
Much love,
Monique
Congratulations Pentatonix on your first Grammy Award for Daft Punk.
We are so proud of you!

Pentatonix didn’t just grow up in the YouTube era. It mastered the art of the viral video. In a way, it had to. Though the group’s music is an aural phenomenon, it almost has to be seen to be believed. It sounds like a full band — can these sounds actually be emanating from mere humans?

my brother's a huge pentatonix fan and he decided to make a cover of their song "that's christmas to me" for christmas this year. he sang all five parts, so everything you hear in this video is him. after he recorded it we went around our hometown together and shot a music video! we're really proud of it, i hope you guys like it!
