We are pleased to announce that Permanent Drift will be making a road trip to Rochester, NY to vend at the Visual Studies Workshop Pub Fair on October 14th. We will be selling books, zines, prints, and related ephemera. See you there!

A poetics statement of mine and some of my poems are included in the Volta Book of Poets, edited by Joshua Marie Wilkinson, and recently published by Sidebrow. I'm so proud to have some of my words in this particular collection, and I hope you'll check it out. Pick up a copy at Pub Fair this Sunday or, you know, buy it online, teach it in your classroom, that sort of thing.

This Weekend: The Visual Studies Workshop Pub Fair!

This Saturday, September 14th, H_NGM_N is happy to participate in the VSW Pub Fair in Rochester, New York. Our very own Nate Pritts and Jennifer H. Fortin will be reading as part of the Litsplosion -- see below for details!

Saturday, September 14th, noon to 7PM VSW Auditorium - 31 Prince Street, Rochester, NY - FREE and open to the public

The VSW Pub Fair will bring together independent publishers in a unique marketplace. Showcased at the fair will be artists' books, photo-bookworks, magazines, zines, digital publishing, as well as resources for all of these media to peruse and purchase. Pub Fare at the Pub Fair! Beer will be available inside the VSW front building and Rochester's Hello Arepa and Le Petit Poutine food trucks will be joining us to serve lunch on the lawn.

Litsplosion at the Pub Fair! We are excited to announce the addition of literary readings to the 2013 Pub Fair! Rochester's first ever Litsplosion brings together a collection of award-winning writers, emerging voices, and regional talents to join the Pub Fair in its celebration of book arts. While many bemoan the state of publishing and the decline of literacy, this showcase offers Pub Fair attendees the opportunity to experience the exciting and diverse work of literary voices that continue to contribute to our colorful cultural landscape. Join us as the writers entertain audiences with stories and poems that range from the socially conscious to the wildly surreal.
