Fishers Pond**
The history of Fishers Pond in Eastleigh can be traced back over 900 years. The first records of fish farming on the site date back to the 11th century, when the pond was used to raise carp for the monks of Winchester Cathedral.Formerly a tea room called Fisher's Cafe, the building later became Fisher's Pond Waterside Pub and Dining Room a large wood panelled building with contemporary décor inside. The pub is mainly a restaurant serving a modern English menu, but there is also a spacious comfy seating area by the bar. The restaurant area extends outside to a large patio overlooking a small lake the Fisher's Pond.No cask bitter on visit so settled for 1/2 Hobgoblin Gold. Review 2023.
