I know this sounds like bullshit, but I actually really dread making publicity material now, after everything that happened (and didn’t happen) when I was still an officer in one of my orgs.
There are a million things that I realized in the year I spent working, but perhaps the most important, and also the most bittersweet, is this: Try not to make your passion your job. The last thing you want to happen is to lose whatever keeps you sane.
Here are some of the pieces I made that haven’t see the light of day.
(I like this teaser 10x better than the actual “official” pub hehe.)

Medsterchef: Cooking for Your Health!
A project by MSSR-IPPNW’s Health Commission ‘16-’17 (s/o to Christine! Thank you so much for putting up with my kalat self huhu) and Philippine Association of Nutrition - Alpha Chapter.
Done with my photos for Kislap. :) More org photoshoots, please! For my sanity’s sake HAHA. PS: Subjects not centered because there has to be space for the logo.

Kislap: Pagsama Week 2017
Logo by Patricia Gan
Favorite colors. :) Perhaps my cleanest, albeit boring, work to date.
Mini rant: I’ve hit burnout na talaga, friends. Haha. Yesterday was terrible - in addition to all the happenings that struck our country (I’d rather not talk about those anymore, because honestly, I don’t even know what to say), I wasn’t feeling well the entire day. Migraine with body pains and nosebleed on the side. It sucked. Missed a quiz, a class where attendance is required, two lab experiments, and a lecture from one of the very few profs I actually like. I didn’t miss our 6 pm lab exam, but meh. To think na I technically had the entire day to study, dapat okay na ako, but still, I don’t think I fared well. Parang wala na akong tamang ginawa. What’s worse is that these random episodes of sickness are getting all too familiar, and that’s incredibly unsettling for me because I can’t afford to miss any more classes. I don’t even know why or how I’ve become like this. Hindi lang naman ako yung maraming ginagawa aside from acads in our class, pero bakit ang hina ko? I honestly don’t think I’ll survive six (+++) more years of this.
November is Environmental Awareness Month! :)
85% sure that this’ll get rejected by other execoun people, so I’ll just post here. Pinakawalang connect na pubmat ever HAHAHA.
(Been experimenting with muted colors a lot lately, so sorry, dear org, kasi ikaw babagsakan ng mga naiisip ko.)
My first attempt at creating a GIF/animated pubmat. Super kapagod pala; what more kung complicated yung design. :( Also: I need to update my typeface collection asap because I literally only use three of different weights, and I feel like I’m just creating the same pub over and over again.
