notes: day thirteen of @battybabyz's agerecember! i knew what i wanted to write for this prompt as soon as i saw the words "puppy" and "spoiled" next to each other hehe. featuring dazai being the best friend he can, some christmas shopping with atsushi, and a brief akutagawa cameo :) and some headcanons ofc ofc you know me

summary:

Dazai likes waving off responsibility for a lot of things, dodging what he's meant to do and handing it off to others. But he's not an idiot, he does know how to handle the important things, like money.

If his co-workers want to believe he's broke, they can. They don't need to know the truth; he just... doesn't know what he'd spend the money he has, on. It's not like he has anything he particularly wants to buy for himself, and he doesn't really have anyone else to spend the money on.

...until he does.
