A easy to understand booklet, highlighting how to start your own company, distribution, publishing channels, types of marketing, types of selling, and much more. . . . I started my writing career by establishing Third Eye Publishing in 2005, and published the traditional way, not POD- print on demand. Which means I utilized a large printer to print books, warehoused them myself, and dealt with distributors directly. The first distributor I had was Baker & Taylor. . . . As of right now I see publishing traditionally for Independent Authors/Publishers as the way to make the most money in the publishing industry. Yet, I see this changing as the internet becomes more viable, and physical currency becomes used less. Createspace and Ingramspark are great platforms now. But will become even better for Indie Publishers over the next 3-5 years. I don't really see a market for large chain retail book stores. Many of them now, along with books are selling a lot of other things , to make up for the growing online book sales. Which means, they're carrying less books than they used to. . . . Today, with Therone Shellman Media I utilize both Ingramspark and Createspace to publish my books. No, you cannot utilize both platforms for the same book. For those who are wondering. . . .
