We learn in high school, ignorance of the law is no excuse. . . As a person of African descent, I would have to state, the same can be said in regards to identity. If you are aware of the history of everyone else, and not also the history of your people. Then you're dumb, death and blind. Point blank. . . Considering the history of this new world under Westernized rule, all populations who have been colonized, not just physically, but also mentally having their culture and identity stripped from have not the choice. But the obligation as individuals and a community, to commit to study. If, after learning of your people being kidnapped, chained, robbed, raped, and you this day dealing with a system which is unequal are not aware. Its because you choose to be stupid. Having not a care, or thinking you can fit in this box, or idea of "We are all the same." Your just dumb. Screw what people say. Pay attention to their actions. 600 years. . . This is no random thought. It's my thinking, for about 20 years. Whether, in the streets, at a job, or anywhere else it's painful to look at, or even listen to Black people with Westernized identity. From gang bangers, to the individual who states they prefer dating outside their race. As Obama stated upon leaving office, "We are not living in a world of post racism." So, you keep up with individualized thinking. . . But oppression is systematic. My life experience has taught me a lot. Especially, about being Black in America. Whether, I was in the streets with dreadlocks hustling, years later as a production supervisor, or years later negotiation publishing deals, and even now. I understand, its all the same it just comes at you differently. Real Life. . . Race & Politics. More than just a novel. Am I racist? No, I'm a realist. . . #reallife #blackidentity #blackinamerica #racematters #seer ##theroneshellmanpromo #theroneshellmanmedia #mentalslavery #awake #cartergwoodson #miseducationofthenegro #blackmen #sociology #psychology #booksforsale #ebook #paperback
