Writing resources: books edition
I shared a list a while back of fantastic online resources to do with writing and publishing. They were all sites that I've personally used and loved! So, I thought I'd share about some of the books on writing and publishing that I've been reading too.
Marketing for authors series by Mandi lynn and Bethany Atazadeh
This series is fantastic! I'm on my second read through (I started again pretty much as soon as I finished 😂). Each book has taught me so much about marketing! And each book has a different focus. I highly recommend all of them! I got the least out of the first one (but still got quite a bit!), but only because I'd already done a lot of that sort of research before I read it. Highly, highly recommend!
Newsletter ninja by Tammi Labrecque
I was sceptical. I heard people talking about how amazing it was, but I'd already started my newsletter and honestly felt alright about it. But I was curious and always open to learn how to do things better! Oh. my. goodness. The amount of underlining I have done! I thought I did a lot in the marketing for authors series but wow! This book has been amazing! I've fixed up my welcome email and my onboarding sequence, and I've gotten ideas on how to better structure my future emails. This was definitely worth the investment!
Books I will be reading (and own) in the future and will absolutely share if they're any good:
Six figure author by Chris Fox
7 figure fiction by T Taylor
Steering the craft by Ursula K Leguin
On writing by Stephen King
