Little adult AU.

I drew this a few months ago, I wanted to explore how their relationship might’ve changed as they grew up and I figured if they were to stay together in a healthy way it’d be Garu learning to feel less embarrassed with affection and Pucca respecting him when he wants her to stop.

So that’s what I drew. Him loving the affection she gives him, getting overwhelmed and her stopping. So yah basically this is a consent AU where Pucca learns consent 😭

I didn’t rly know how to change the designs and still make them recognizable for the AU bcuz idk if Garu changed ever since he’s wearing a uniform. And the most notable thing about Pucca is her space buns. There just isn’t much to change? But if I draw them again maybe I’ll mess around with the designs just to see. 🫶

I loved this show as a kid (and maybe chased someone I liked in 1st grade at recess when I was little bcuz of it…). Can’t rly watch it anymore tho cuz it’s so obvious the entire writing board is just “who can write their f3tish into the show the most?” :(
