Of course people are going to say it's her best album because it's brand new and significantly better than lover and rep. However, nothing will ever top speak now and red. They cannot be dethroned. Their dynasty will last until the sun expands into a red giant and swallows the solar system and kills us all in the process. I'm just stating facts here!!!

I 100% agree about the album! I prefer upbeat songs more too. I don't think this will ever become a fave taylor swift album for me, but it'll be perfect for when you just want something calm and relaxing and beautiful to listen to. The lyrics though are on another level. This also is the best aesthetic imo and for once I'd actually buy the merch sooo

ooh interesting a lot of people consider this her best album!! i think its her second best (second to red, that album,,,,,,,,no words) if there were more upbeat songs i think this wouldve been my fave. but it makes sense it was slow and dreamy bc thats what folklore is jfweigjreihtr. and yes agreed!! the lyrics in this album were outstanding every single song is written beautifully

hello are you dying over folklore like me? what are your favorite songs initially? for me, it's the last great american dynasty, exile (bon iver's vocals in the beginning really just rammed me against a wall lemme tell ya), and betty! tbh the only songs I'm not feeling at the moment are this is me trying and hoax, but there aren't any absolute duds (like bad blood ugh that's just,,, the WORST song in existence). anyways, what are your thoughts on the album?

yes i am 🤧my favourite songs initially were mad woman, allicit affair and august!! oh and AGREED exile is so good i loveddd how their lyrics contrasted each other. i LOVE this is me trying but it HURTS so i skip it sometimes 😔the songs im not feeling rn are betty and peace tbh fjweifjiregjerg and damn y’all really hate bad blood huh 😳im gonna admit that when i first listened to the album i didnt......love it i thought the production was kinda :// (i prefer upbeat songs) but when i properly sat down and listened to it, i liked it SO much more than i did before and now i adore it!!

First of all, you didn’t clarify which version of the song you talking about. So I guess that was a double communication error on our parts.

Second, being “100% a joke” doesn’t mean I can’t reblog if I don’t agree with it. 

Third, I still hate all those songs you listed.
