Hi, I see you've been watching the Murdoch Misteries series, I was wondering where you are watching it? I live in New Zealand, and can't find it anywhere and several people I follow have started watching it and it sounds really good. Also I hope you're habeing a great day :)

I'm in the UK, so I'm watching it through Sky's Box Sets thing. I've not found anywhere legal to stream it from as of yet though. :( And it is really good. A few things you have to take with a pinch of salt but otherwise awesome. :D

Hi! I just wanted to say that I love your malice writing, but after seeing the anon message I wanted to tell that since I saw that you've had to have dental surgery my thoughts were more focused on you making sure you're taking care of yourself because surgery is super rough and recovery can take longer than people expect (I'm slowly learning that after surgery no. 7 lol). But yeah, please look after yourself, I for one am content with rereading old fics until you feel better <3

I’m definitely taking care of myself! I’ve been basically camped out on my parents’ couch the past... week and a half since the surgery lmao (I’m almost caught up on Elementary, I’ve started B99, and Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 is almost beaten... again)

I am writing, it’s just slow (and usually at night when I’m not being bothered by my father wanting me to “come see something really quick” or me just not wanting to get off the couch lmao). I’ve got... I think the rest of this week until Friday when *fingers crossed* my dentures are good enough for me to return to my life. I love my parents (and my parents’ dogs), but I wanna be home, where Seb can climb his tree and relax fully for the first time in like 3 weeks (he’s been down here since before the hurricane hit, and I only went back up home for 3 days of work in all of that time), I can watch TV at WHATEVER SOUND LEVEL I WANT, DAD, and stay up late and not tiptoe around.

but most importantly, I want those dentures so I can EAT A GODDAMN BURGER I am taking care of myself and resting properly and I’m hoping my surgeon will be impressed tomorrow (later today?? it is like 2am here, lmao whoops) at my follow up visit :)

thank you for your message! I know you guys (including the anon with this) always like new content, but you guys are sweet and know life sometimes gets in the way of content creation. Trust me, I want that content too! and once I get back on my regular life schedule, the writing will be more frequent (this hurricane and surgery AND period have thrown me off my groove, man, September was a wild fucking ride)

The first character I first fell in love with: Jack O'Neill. Like, within 30 seconds of his appearance on screen. All those years watching MacGyver as a kid came back in a rush, and I thought, Ohhhh, right. RICHARD DEAN ANDERSON.

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Teal'c, who was super enigmatic at first and who now is secretly my very favorite. <3

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Daniel. I hasten to add, I don't HATE Daniel, not at all. I love his sass and appreciate him as a character and intellectually can understand why people like him, but...eh. Just not into it. The funny thing about this is that Daniel, in the movie, was my faaaaavorite. I was reluctant to watch the show for a long time because I was certain no one else could possibly live up to James Spader as movie!Daniel. OH! A better answer for this question is probably: Ba'al. I don't "love to hate him", I just fucking hate him. He's slimy and sadistic and he creeps me out.

The character I love that everyone else hates: I don't think people hate him, necessarily, but I really like Landry, probably mostly because Beau Bridges. Oh, also Jonas Quinn. I don't think he's necessarily hated, at least not since Daniel came back, but I love him so, precious alien puppy full of sunshine and enthusiasm.

The character I used to love but don’t any longer: This question needs to be phrased the opposite way. I don't think there are any characters I used to love but don't any more; but I can think of several characters I used to dislike or feel neutral about that I grew to love. Pete Shanahan, for ex--HA. JUST KIDDING. I never outright disliked Sam or Teal'c or Vala or Janet, but I definitely grew to love them all a LOT more than I ever imagined I would.

The character I would totally smooch: Jack. Cam. Jonas. 

The character I’d want to be like: Hmmm. I think either Jonas Quinn or Janet Fraiser. Jonas because enthusiasm and positivity and determination, and Janet for competence and compassion and general badassery. Kerry Johnson, for her observational skills and kindness and forthrightness. (Clare Carey did a lot with her handful of scenes.) Maybe Cam, too. OH. IT JUST NOW OCCURRED TO ME WHAT A CRYING SHAME IT IS THAT WE NEVER GOT TO SEE CAM AND JONAS TOGETHER. Maaaan, that would've been so great, with their combined encyclopedic knowledge of all things SG-1.

The character I’d slap: Pete Shanahan. NO CONTEST. Maybe also Narim for creepily having Sam's voice in his house, ewwwwww gross dude. What other facsimiles of Sam do you have, huh? 

A pairing that I love: Sam/Jack OF COURSE. That's really my only OTP for SG-1. I guess Cam/Vala, too, but I don't feel nearly as strongly about that one. 

A pairing that I despise: Sam/Ba'al is probably the only one I truly despise. I don't love Daniel/Vala, but I'm okay with it. I really don't see how people read Jack and Daniel as lovers, because to me they seem more like beleaguered father and rebellious teenage son half the time, and competitive brothers the other half. I don't ship Sam/Teal'c in Unending, because of the horrific emotional burden that would place on Teal'c. Yes, I know, fictional characters, but I am me and I cannot leave the emotions out of it, okay? If you can I envy you a little bit because you probably are a lot less stressed out over fictional characters than I am. :-)
