2002 Little Yellow Mark acquired from @white2tea in 2016. 3 years of my storage hasn’t destroyed it anyway! Thick bodied, silky smooth texture, lots of dried stone fruit, elderflowers, wood, hay, some leather, burnt/roasted nuts, liquorice, some cinnamon and clove spice, and a honey sweet finish. Pressing our new cakes in Menghai the last few days. Shou Puer cakes are usually pressed with a hydraulic press in order for the cake to have enough pressure to stick together. Even with the aid of the machine, it is still a process that requires at least a three person team. Measuring the tea, steaming the tea, transferring it to the cloth bag, pressing and stacking the tea all takes time. We try to oversee our tea processing as much as possible in order to ensure quality processing and pressing. Planet Baiying from @crimsonlotustea. This is viscious and oily, with a fresh thirst quenching juiciness. It has some bitterness and astringency when pushed, with citrus sour notes. Higher notes of herbs and florals come through. Some fruitiness, likened to stone fruits as well. Returning sweetness with salivation and a hint of residual minty coolness.
