Nikolai knocks on Emil’s door, he hadn’t told him that he would be coming over that day so he hoped that he was at home.
His trip to Iceland had been a spur-of-the-moment decision after seeing a documentary which highlighted the most popular shopping street, Laugavegur. After deciding he hadn’t been sightseeing (or shopping) in Iceland for ages he booked a plane ticket and headed right over.
He knocks on the door one more time before stepping back and gazing up at the Icelander’s home, now looking for any sign of life.
