A lot of people have had problems with his written works being Outstandingly creepy in the way he writes teenage girls, definitely as a kind of Manic Pixie Dream girl and any criticism he received on that would just be pushed off and he’d say something along the lines of “in writing girls as people” despite it being young girls who were uncomfortable with it and him being a billion year old man. He’s also had problems in the past with speaking over marginalized peoples and also just coming up-

With more excuses to try to “justify” himself being pretty grody. And his fanbase is comprised of ANIMALS so any criticism of him led to relentless attack. Eventually he became a giiiiant joke and a couple of posts back when you could edit other people’s posts got very popular

I know there are posts somewhere that talk about it way better than I can, if I can find em I’ll send em your way! 

Thank you for your answer! and a link to a post like that or something that has context/sources would be very appreciated, thank you!  With being an adult man writing YA romance novels, that’s probably a common problem o: I’d need to read his work or see a breakdown of it to really understand probably. 

That’s unfortunate though

With how vague the negative posts about how I’ve seen have been, I’ve had to try not to write them off as a result of that kind of dramatizing echo chamber that this site can sometimes create- I’d love to actually have a more informed opinion!
