Yet another bath night cut short by Brian's free-spirited tailbone.
I keep forgetting this blog exists so here's so here's Drac dying - Shadow
Whenever I fear for the clumps safety, I always remember that if the narrative changes a little too much, duck will simply reject it and Becky and Joe will have no other choice but to return things to normal. They’ve built themselves the prison of narrative, being Duck’s inability to accept change. They go a little too ham? Ha, I don’t think so. Yellow dies? No, he’s not supposed to do that. I know a bitchy little 4’10 crow-like thing who’ll have something to say about that >:) -🍓🍷
Yeah this tracks, also, back when they were finishing up the youtube series they chose to write Red as being willing to alter their reality to save Yellow from pain and suffering so I'm just gripping onto that facts with fingernails SO fucking hard. Red saved Yellow out of some form of love and not even becky herself can take that away from me
I'm deleting my FFN account
In case there's anyone here that's read and wanted to read/reread anything by @loonysamaa on FFN, I'm sorry, but I'll be deleting my account in one week.
Thank you to all the people that have been reading and enjoying my fics on FFN!!! I really appreciate you checking out my fics and letting me know you liked them. Each of your positive comments has made my day.
I'm leaving because I've had one too many negative, and frankly, ridiculous, comments on things I've worked really hard on and put a lot of love and time into (sometimes other people have put time into, too) and it's not worth it anymore. Not to mention hardly any positive feedback. And, honestly, this is long overdue.
FFN warns writers that we should be thankful for negative comments because the reviewers have taken the time to read and write a comment. But half the time they don't. Most of my comments have been complaints about the ship I wrote and that I based it on the movie, not the book. And then there are the people that don't read or like a fic, but they comment asking if you take requests to write very specific prompts with their OCs. It's extremely disappointing when people treat writers like commodities. We are real people with feelings. So, you know what, FFN? Fuck you and good riddance!
To the cowardly anonymous reader (that I can't respond to on FFN because they're anon) that just told me they wouldn't read any more of my newest fic, "Head Over Feet," unless I changed the name of my female Hans (Gianna) because, "no offense the name you picked is stupid" (by the way, you should learn how to write before criticizing): There's no way I'd ever change anything to make you happy. By the way, the name was in the summary so you didn't even have to open the fic to know that. Don't like? Don't read. It's pretty simple. And I don't give a shit whether you continue reading or not. In fact, I'm not even giving you the option to read more. Sorry, not sorry! Again, by FFN standards I should be grateful for this comment.
Writing and reading fanfic is supposed to be fun, not an excuse to anonymously make people feel bad for dumb reasons. My mental health is more important than rude comments from people hiding behind anonymous reviews. So I'm just done.
Everything that's posted at FFN is also posted at AO3 (a far superior archive that actually values writers) under @loonysama and @annas-hair-donut.
Tell me you love me, the emptiest lie and I'll believe every word. Tell me you need me to be by your side, now and forever more. I'll hold the candle to light your way, and sing you love songs from the grave. I'll be the angel to guide your way and hold you till the night becomes day.
“Oh, she’s just faking it-to get attention is all.”
Cry Wolf
Done for my Com course. I combined the two idioms “cry wolf” and “pull the plug”, which is more subtle, cause in the girl’s hand is a USB cord, with the port being on the back of her neck.
The peice was made to be open to interpretation. So take it how you will.
