“young girl smell” pía i had almost completely forgotten why would you remind me of the existence of that line again. speaking of women being written exclusively from men’s perspectives, i notice the only time it’s from lyra’s perspective is when there isn’t a main guy character around, so when will (beloved) or malcom (beloathed) is around whatever they think about lyra or worse whatever is going on gets told mostly from their perspective and their feelings the most. like i was re-reading the land of the dead scene from TAS. and um. lyra has known pan her entire life. but will gets the most description of how much is hurts to loose someone he hasn’t met yet. and lyra rejecting pan gets told through his eyes and not lyra’s own (at least not in depth) as he’s watching it happen. and lyra is the main character of the series....i might be angry. 🧂
