Describing things with the absurdity of a cartoon or a sitcom. The onomatopoeia and narration tones of a comic book. The oft wielded cinematic touch on a tense scene. And others yet...

Skeletor watched as she resisted with all of her strength, and his magical abilities were only teasing with the amount he could inflict more. "Though, you must know by now - what with how I'm hardly fatigued - that my power is endless, little one. I could spend years and years doing this. Why not just give in? It'll make this so much quicker..." Yet, he could not deny there was amusement in his demeanor, enjoying the suffering he is causing.

Maybe it was everything that had happened in the past catching up to her or maybe... she exhaled, "Fuck that didn't come out right-" The brunette offered a weak smile, "I was just... thinkin I guess." she said with a shrug.
