Since I've been on an #mxpx kick, I thought I'd share some #drawings #sketches I did a few years ago. This is based on the band's #logo / #mascot by #johnnissendesign. I did this in 2012, when the band was celebrating their 20th anniversary. I think one of the things I admire the most about the band is their perseverance and determination over the years. Reaching your goals through blood, sweat, and tears is a quality I greatly admire and try to live by everyday. PUNK ICON JORDAN REVEALS HER AUTOBIOGRAPHY...

Punk icon Jordan is releasing her long awaited biography, in conjunction with Cathy Unsworth  ‘Defying Gravity’ this April. I am happy to confirm that one of my photos was commissioned  (taken in a location shoot in Manchester) to promote the book at the London Book Fair on the Omnibus Press book stall, alongside Poly Styrene and Soft Cell posters.

What a giant print, I was pleasantly surprised to see the sheer size, but also to see Jordan and Sonic Youth’s Thurson Moore posing in front of it. Photos provided by David Barraclough at Omnibus Press.

JORDAN: PUNK ICON SHOOT

It’s the third time I have met the lovely Jordan, the original outrageous young punk woman who revolutionised the W10 punk fashion. Jordan was a guest at the Louder Than Words Festival in Manchester this weekend. I took the opportunity to grab a few minutes with her to take some portraits, she is so bloody cool. The photo above from the set has been post processed as a colourful art image with various layers to make an iconic statement.
