hi! last summer you sent out a newsletter for june/july that had poetry/small fiction recs in it. I was just wondering, did you stop doing that? I didn’t get one during August or beyond. if so, no worries! if not, is there a way I may subscribe to the newsletter again?

unfortunately, what happened was i fell into a pretty dark & unstable depression. i stopped reading, writing, and really doing pretty much anything. and then i started working and i just never got back into it. i actually had written out august’s draft but i never got to actually finish it. 

so, you can still subscribe to it! you can find it here. i do plan on picking it back up! perhaps stay tuned for the end of august 👀 we’ll just pick it back up like nothing happened. expect some changes though, that’s a lot for formatting for a guy like me who’s just here for a good time.

I am SO excited to see Max and Eleven’s friendship and I really hope they develop it to be as strong as the boys’ friendship and it’s not destroyed over “””some guy””” because the Duffer brothers won’t know how to write female friendships well

I feel like they actually listened to the criticism that we gave them of how they made El HATE Max and that’s why they’re friends in season 3. And I’m really happy about that. Because of the delay in filming they had the time to read criticism and reflect on that (didn’t get rid of the nasty milf stuff but.... you win some you lose some). I’m SO excited to see them become and just BE friends. They look so adorable!

god a kid in my english class last year did a whole op ed on whether a sub is a sandwich. he concluded they are not since they hace a hinge (hinge is key here). since hot dogs are constructed the same way, based on his explanation I’m gonna go with Hot Dogs Are Not Sandwiches

in the traditional sense a sub is a sandwich but a hot dog is nOT
