It’s Giving Tuesday!
Killian is an energetic 10 years old that loves LEGO’s, dressing up, and playing with his little brother.
Unfortunately he had also been given multiple diagnosis including autism, epilepsy, and most recently a craniotomy.
He has been lucky enough to be approved for a service dog through 4 Paws for Abilty.

Help Bring Killian’s Superhero Home
Killian had a blast at his cousins’ birthday party today. We had no issues. He ate, sat patiently while they opened gifts, and even helped sing Happy Birthday. He also made a friend, a small kitten that was a new addition to the household. It was amazing to sit and watch him interact with the kitten. The kitten, Lucky, was running away from everyone, but jumped up near Killi and stayed hanging out with him for a good while. He played toys with her and pet her belly. It just showed us how an animal can positively impacted his life.

For those of you following along.
A day I have been fearing has come. After over 2.5yrs of being seizure free, Killian had a seizure today. We don’t know how long he was down for, but the on-call neurologist believes that he has outgrown the dosage on his meds. He temporarily got extra meds and we have been instructed to increase his morning meds tomorrow. A call to his actual neurologist will be happening on Monday to see where we are going from here.
Just in case you are worried, he is sleeping (for the past 4hrs. It’s normal). The sleep mask was requested by him so he could rest without lights bothering him.

Got word that this past weekend they re-ran Killian’s story. We are now 9 days from our hopeful goal date and we are still far from it. Please keep up sharing the link and hopefully we can reach the right people to get his dog.

One year. It feels so much longer than that and yet not that long ago at the same time. After this appt Killian was emotionally done for the day. There was a sensory meltdown and the loss of a chocolate milk (his brothers). This site, of Killian getting MRIs, is a site that we still have to see and will be seeing for the years to come.

Alright, so good news and bad-ish news.
Bad-ish News, we were not able to do the physical due to one was already paid for in Oct.
Good news, weight check still happened and we have gain about 2lbs.
Doctor seemed happy and we don’t have to go back for 2mo for his next check. So things are looking up.
