what sort of puppets are your favorites?

personally, i like muppet-style puppets and theatre puppets

I love all kinds of puppets hold on *looks at my notes*

My first puppet crush was puppet Habit from the ''Smile for me'' game. Around 2019 I would blame the little guy for my fascination with puppets

Then in 2022 I got interested and very invested in the Muppets I have alot of characters I have crushes on from there which extended into other form of felt muppet like puppets where and was also the time I made my own puppet that I still love.

Also I just got back from my Uk trip where I got to see a live performance of Avenue Q. Im so happy and I got lucky that my favorite puppet Nicky came up to me at one part in the musical I freaked out as he was just looking at me and waving.

I have to also talk about ventriloquist dummies as they are a form of puppets I have fallen for not long after my muppet fascination. Putting all the blame on Slappy from Goosebumps for that one. Tho I also have quite a few other ventriloquist dummies I love like Scarface (Batman), Fats (Magic 1978), Billy O'Brien (jackbox), Billy (Saw). I love that they are abit creepy, but they are so fun and I love how lively the performers can make them look. Big thing is that I like their mouth mechanism maybe the same reason why I love Nutcrackers so much too haha

I have great love for all kinds of puppets that its almost embarrassing how much I want to kiss them and cherish them Im too empathetic towards them. Because sometimes people neglect puppets or find them scary and want to destroy them which makes me sad

Just lots and lots of puppets I love and their fun designs. Real physical puppets or any other art form I have great love for them <3

I have a very specific self-recovery Hector headcanon. Lil' Habby type shit.

The Inspekta plushies come to life after he descends. Actually, they were always somewhat sentient. But they are dolls, so they pretend not to. Now that "Mama" is gone, they're frantic.

Silly things. Notice how they explode when you interact with them....? But regenerate? There's god magic in them dolls. And they would be very confused without that large presence of magic after Hector chose to descend. Little puppy snake-things that have a diet of PLASTIC because they're stuffed with poly fill. Environmentally friendly to boot 😆

I imagine Hobbyhooians having mixed feelings about this, as BuzzHuzz is just near by and open again...but some feel the need to protect them as the rift looms and shook the earth of course.

I think of these dolls as Hector's inner child. A soft part of him that is always there in his personality, but he can’t geniunely feel that happy anymore.

YEAH SO. Now with that whole disbanding of the Bizzyboys, because of control freak reasons and he needs to be better to people before he thinks of collaboration again--

Hector is FORCED to confront parts of himself in real life. But it's actually not so bad. The dolls are a bit chaotic, of course. They've got drain and godly influence in them.

They....quite literally act like little puppies. They don't quite know full sentences yet, they parrot words.

....It's bittersweet.

But Hector sees that sad little kid in each of those soft fabric faces. Someone he should've protected a long time ago.
