Hear me out - omega-Wemmbu have irregular and fucked up heat cycle due to stress and it lasts differently each time and goes painful. It's easier for him to isolate himself than to be vulnerable and on display - he deals with it alone, getting over it alone no matter how demanding his body is.
To make it even worse for his stupid omega-body - Wems is infertile. Not by default, but because of trauma. Zam did everything he could to cripple Wemmbu and stigmatize him as nothing more then a property.

personally I hc a lot of the villains to be omegas (esp ash and zam) because not only does it go against the "oh omegas are weakkk they're stupidddd they're only to be used as breeders" stereotype that usually happens in omegaverse stories, but it also makes it wayyy more angsty. like to think it's one of your own dynamic doing this to you... to think that they know exactly what to do to manipulate and change you as easily as breathing.... it's soooo yummy
I like that wemmbu deals with his heats alone too!!! I think egg (beta, maybe even an alpha that doesn't really smell or act like one) at least tries to give him food and water when he can find wemmbu during his heat. maybe offers himself up a few times, bit wemmbu always brushes him off with a lighthearted joke and buries himself deep in his nest.
maybe add in jadenbu (beta Jaden perhaps?) and have Jaden offer wemmbu help, that he'll be a soothing presence during it and he'll follow wemmbus lead (let wemmbu top the beta 🔥 let omegas top 🔥) but wemmbu would deny that, too. he rather isolate, deal with the cramps and the pain and the everything awful about heats than let someone see him like this
mayveeee even get into wemmfrags too... Omega x Omega where flame understands exactly how bad a heat can be, especially when you're someone like him or wemmbu. maybe wemmbu starts it when he's alone with flame one day and he can't get away in time before flame sniffs him out. can't hide from a fellow omega, after all, and flame shoves golden apples and water bottles into his hands, demands for him to drink and eat up, before he drags wemmbu to a safer place to suffer through his heat.
wemmbu feels on display under flames eyes even with the blindfold and numerous layers of clothing between them, but if he hisses enough, flame will at least turn away. would give him the mercy of taking off his hoodie for wemmbu to have to soothe his instincts just a little. would give him the mercy of saying he'll follow wemmbus lead with whatever he needs (let wemmbu top flame 🔥) and make sure that no one would come for them
for him.
