the likelihood of wemmrot being eachother’s “firsts” in anything is so painfully low that it hurts… but the payoff is so good…

wemmrot were far too dense in season one… and by wemmrot i mean wemmbu. that early in the story, he wasn’t committed to the bit… it all cringed him out. whereas parrot and wifies went in full throttle, emotions out in the open .. so realistically, wifies was all over that bird first (kisses, “i love you-s”).

i can’t see see wemmrot getting over themselves any time before late season 2, so parrot was also with theo romantically before then. wemmbu’s instances are more flings to me (good ones of a jadenbu nature/bad ones with strangers or powerful figures), unlike parrot’s mega dependent emotional connections. though, while parrot was close with wifies, i feel like the likelihood of him being intimate with theo is way higher??? wifies gives off the energy of : im making out with parrot but he’s not making out with me. their friendship in general is a little pathetic even in wemmbu’s eyes… considering that when wifies dropped dead (s1) he didn’t gaf.

theorrot is a little more impactful, as wemmbu actually knows theo and also heavily dislikes him. theo also Looks like he can handle parrot, which gets wemmbu a bit pissy. theo “you’re close enough to parrot” bald… and they are very close indeed..

theo being parrot’s first in that manner sounds sweet to me… he takes care of him well! wemmbu’s first was not with anyone particularly significant to him. this puts wemmrot at very different positions when they’re brought together. to parrot it’s still obviously a big deal, and for wemmbu… its an even bigger deal—which surprises him.

wemmbu has a lot of unresolved feelings about intimacy as a whole that he can finally explore in a non hostile environment… or just in a space where the other person fully knows who he is, how he thinks and what he likes.,, he might genuinely be interested in someone this way again and it’s for the last person he thought he’d be getting with. he has to process why specifically it’s different this time. to me, a big part of that is that wemmbu did not really dom at all before being with parrot and it feels nice that parrot trusts him. but internally, wemmbu needed to know if he could trust parrot. so at least this way, it’s a lot more reassuring…wemmbu has control over the circumstances for the first time : )

i get all happy thinking about domestic lovely wemmrot… where parrot lets him touch his hair or wings and look at his face all dumb… they share the warmest and fullest hugs. just buried completely into one another. it makes the wait so worth it… like even if they weren’t eachother’s firsts, they found their way home eventually and that’s what matters…. cries everywhere i love wemmrot theyre so special to me i love gentle affection…

may i ramble to you for a bit? since in omegaverse, mating bite/bond mark can give the couple sense each other emotions. to me, parrot omega and other protags can be either alpha or beta idrc that much. anyway, imagine while civil war, all of them can feel parrot's conflicting emotions and repeats of despair. flame and wemmbu doesnt know what to do, they really want to comfort parrot but can't spoke just suffering that he cannot comfort parrot while stuck in purgatory and also suffers from touch starved he is
