Ok call me insane, I probably am but

We're pretty sure that when we gather all the shadow crystals seam is going to make us the purecrystal

But when you take the shadow crystals to the light world they become glass. Kind of.

"it feels like glass but..." Implying maybe it looks different than glass, maybe it's translucent but not transparent like glass? It has a weird coloration or something???? If it's a darker translucent "glass" maybe combining all 5 would result in an opaque shard In the light world?
