The dark, blue hues of Purgatory made Janelle feel as if she were walking on the bottom of the ocean. The sea water was but a purple lit haze of heat and escapism, tinted with the smell of alcohol. The colours that crossed her golden streak gave the illusion of a sheer green tinge. Green and gold. How patriotic.

Her genial gaze set over the blonde bartender as she took a seat. "Greetings," came her politely, slightly accented voice. "Glass of Baileys, please."

The operative sat straight, never leaning, an awkward feature amongst the usual set of customers. Rarely did she ever visit bars on her own accord, and usually that was in Afterlife's VIP section. Cerberus dogs made her trade those distant, Hallex fuelled nights for innocent days at Purgatory.

"Spirits, I miss Afterlife." She let it slip in a dejected mumble and in a frustrated sigh.
