What would Sophodra and Rose think of Ant-Man? He's a human, a "firegub", but he can also communicate with "bugs" using pheromones and grow to giant size.
Sophodra would be fascinated. Rose would probably have a heart attack.

@pushovermediacritic so the answer here is... i dont know! lmao. the warlord!ace au is entirely spawned by me reading the ace novels, in which he's offered a warlord position at sabaody (which he turns down), and thinking 'damn if he DID accept that would be a great pretext for spurring a sabo reunion.' it's entirely a 'what if' scenario in which i've taken a lot of liberties in order to put these guys in a Situation dfkgjhdsf. to be completely honest i kinda just assumed the book worked that out but i think i overestimated it there skfdbg. given the timeline (considering it's taking place 2 years pre-timeskip, when ace is 17) i can't figure out what warlord he would've replaced. all the warlords at the time of luffy's adventure seem to have been established quite a while, so i suppose he'd be the 8th warlord. ultimately though, it doesn't really matter lol. i have no plans for the au that involve the other warlords or anything far enough in the future that it'd matter, other than thinking it'd be funny for ace to walk up to mingo like 'i fucked your nephew shitlips'

Actually, Kakarot confirmed that Bulma's mom's name isn't Panchy, her official name is Bikini.
Panchy was the name officially given to her by Toriyama. Based on the fact the game still uses Bulla instead of Bra too, I’m just gonna go with the likelihood that they didn’t want a woman overtly named after underwear and “localized” it as “Bikini” to be less offensive. Otherwise, it was likely a developer's choice more than an official name.

I was actually sort of looking forward to 37, especially since it's pretty controversial and I love the Inspector, but I guess it turned out to be an early April Fools episode reading fanfiction. Up until the very end, I was still feeling a little bitter and upset, but the lack of animosity in Gray's reaction soothed the burn. So, what's going on with the actual book 37? Do we have to wait another week? Or do you just hate 37 so much you decided to skip it entirely?
No fear—we’ll be coming out with the canon 37 episode next week! It was, uh, not controversial among the three of us, I’m sorry to say. 😅Sorry this episode was stressful for you—rest assured that Gray loved it a lot!

You can contribute to the discussion on the topic without even signing in. It is a very active discussion, and there are multiple people there arguing that she's transgender. The most recent comment was added by myself anonymously arguing just such a thing. It's just in the Talk section of her wikia page. That is how you tell them, go do that.
On it now!

Huh, I definitely got the impression that Fake 37 was written as a sort of response and rebuttal to Real 37, since a lot of the plot points and character moments mentioned are the exact opposite from what the Real 37 did. Especially that moment where the other Animorphs got insight that Rachel isn't just a violence-junkie, when 37 is the book where she really starts turning more and more into the battle-loving warrior she always feared she could be.
Haha, the funny thing is, neither Ted nor I (Jenny) reread 37 before outlining or writing the pretend 37. 😆I had read it before, obviously, but it was a long time ago, and I had a verrrry faint memory of it. (For some reason, it wasn’t one I reread a lot. Weird!) So I definitely wasn’t writing in direct response to anything in that book. I did take our version in the direction of softening the general Rachel trajectory—but the strong contrast with canon 37 was less because of any specific stance we were taking and more because canon 37 engages in a baffling and extreme assassination of Rachel’s character that doesn’t follow from her previous books or result in an even slightly plausible facsimile of a human being. Any direction we took Rachel in was going to be a contrast to that.

If you aren't already planning on it, you NEED to show Grey the Tri-Rex toy in the Time of Dinosaurs review. It's SO CLOSE to her old Megamorph theory.
You are EXTREMELY correct. Just look at this beauty:
And, in case you couldn’t appreciate its true majesty, here it is disassembled:
Gray will be so pleased.
What was that one post from years ago talking about how modern black suicide humor of today mirrors the black suicide humor of World War 2? I remember there were specific terms for those movements.
i have no memory of this
