“I was certainly planning on it, but if you’re hungry, you can have half of it.” She doesn’t wait to hear a reply before she cuts a piece of the steak for him and pushes the plate closer. “I was planning on eating some cake anyway, so you can have that half. But touch my half and I’ll rip your tongue out and eat that instead.” It’s not an empty threat. She’s sure he knows that.

“Is that a threat?” Blonde brow arches up as she speaks, taking one more step closer to him. She reaches up again, tapping his nose one more time. “I don’t think you’d do it. You know I’d bite back twice as hard.” She speaks playfully, a soft laugh filtering past red lips. At that, she leans up and nips at his nose, much like a dog would while playing. “Bite me, Luce.”
