This game...man I never thought I'd see a puzzle platformer this dark. And yet this good.
I think Leap Year is probably one of the most finely balanced puzzle platformers I've played in years, in that, while the solutions are often deeply obtuse, when you do hit upon them it's always less "how the was I supposed to figure that out?" and more "oh, you fuckers".

Happy Valentine's Day weekend! I made a video game for you to play, and Matthew "Umadnarel" Winkler made some music for it. You might've seen me throwing out test builds and the like for people to try on Facebook and Twitter, but for those who haven't seen it, here's a quick rundown:
It's a brief puzzle platformer game, with (I think) a unique mechanic: it's bit of an escort mission, but the person you are escorting is deathly afraid of you. You must use that fear to usher her safely through some dangerous places.
Play it in your browser here! Or, if that doesn't work, you can try the standalone version here for Windows! Just unzip that file, and run the .exe file you find in there.
Controls!
Left/Right, or A/D: Walk around
Up, W, or Space: Jump
R: Reset the current level
Down, or D: Toggle camera zoom
Esc: Go back to the level select screen.
