Caladium and Rose!
Caladium: What makes them happy?
Aside from dancing, being cozy and reading, learning new spells, taking care of her plants, and of course being affectionate/taking care of those she loves
Rose: Are they a hopeless romantic? How would they show their affection?
Oh she is very much a hopeless romantic. And she shows affection with lots
And lots
Of snuggles, smooches and little intimate/loving touches.
I’m sorry these took so long to answer! Storms here kept knocking my power out!
Headcanon: August has cried over at least one Disney movie.
Okay, assuming this is the modern AU (because I’m afraid it would be 0/10 in the Arcanaverse for obvious reasons), 7/10. August as his current adult self doesn’t actually cry very much; he definitely is caring and feels a lot of things, but it just doesn’t manifest as tears most of the time. On the other hand, when he was a kid, there were definitely two times: 1) Mufasa’s death, and 2) when leaving the theater and Viv had to tell him Treasure Planet isn’t real.
Esther is a baby thot confirmed
is that a kind of magician?
16 & 19!
Apprentice Asks
16. Does your apprentice enjoy the luxury of the palace andNadia’s gifts or do they find it overwhelming?
Miena gets overwhelmed with everything Nadia does for her, she’s so kind and amazing that Miena doesn’t know how to react. (Yes, I drew Miena as Mrs. Puff)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
19. Is there a song or songs that you associate with yourapprentice?
YES!!! To inspire I hear “Alegría” from Cirque du Soleil
I do also have a thing to listen Loreena McKennitt when I draw Miena with Muriel. Specially this one.
From Ari: “Hey, Nana, I know that you’re doing advice right now and everything, but you wouldn’t happen to have seen Sesame around would you? I really need to find him because last time that I left him unattended, half of Lucio’s jewelry went missing...”
bold of you to assume he’s gonna help lucio, sorry
this one read better like this.
where there is light, there’s hope.
“If you’re not here to turn the lights off, I can’t sleep” for Nanaugust!
Finally getting around old prompts. Lovely August is @froyofam‘s
It’s always easy for Anatole to get lost in his work. It’s not just his ambition and his drive, it’s also he genuinely likes what he does — of course there’s boring parts of it, annoying parts of it, things-he’d-rather-not parts of it, but despite all of them, he hasn’t lost his passion for his field despite having made a career out of his passion.
So as the clock hits 11:35pm, he keeps researching. He said he was going bed bed about forty minutes go but he’s never been good at going to bed when he said he would. He’d get there eventually, he supposes. He’s working in the kitchen, and he can see the lights of the bedroom on out the corner of his eye, but August is uncharacteristically quiet, so he just assumes he fell asleep with the lights on. He’s the night person of the two of them, but he’s also the one who can fall asleep quicker than one gets to count to ten.
It’s one of his many endearing traits.
He sighs as he fidgets his pen between his fingers and read out loud softly from his computer, frowning in concentration. He’s so absorbed in it he doesn’t notice August creeping into the kitchen until he tugs his sleeve to announce his presence, sliding his arm around Anatole’s waist and burying his face in the crook of his neck.
“You smell good,” he says.
“I do shower often and I have a nice perfume.” Anatole smiles, his jaw unclenching and his body relaxing as he leans back against the warmth of August. He keeps reading his article.
August silently holds him for a couple more minutes, until he grumbles a protest: “Anatole come to bed.”“I will in a minute, I promise I’m just,” he pauses, humming as he does, “five pages away from finishing this article.”
August is tempted to ask what is the article for, but something tells him he can ask in the morning, because if he asks now, Anatole will never go to bed. “But the lights,” he complains instead.“What with them?”
“You need to turn them off!”
“Which you can do yourself, philatos.”
“Yes, but it’s not the same, I can’t sleep if you’re not there to turn the lights off.”
Anatole lets go of a soft ‘oh,’ turning his head to kiss August softly. He closes his computer. “Alright, lets go to bed.”
