“Hm… I appreciate the question, though it’s equally as difficult to answer as the one regarding the belief I struggle with. I believe… that no human being is beyond redemption, that we are inherently good and retain virtue, regardless of the mistakes we make or difficulties we face. People should not be recklessly accused or abandoned because of one foul action, or even the potential within them to do wrong.” He sighs, resigning himself to suppressing further discussion of his opinion.

“Ignorance and the insistence upon maintaining that ignorance. I’ve met plenty an unpleasant student in my day but nothing irks me more than one who refuses to learn. It tries my patience and even that has a limit.”
