Here I am sharing my experience with Ccavenue and PVRcinema.
Ccavenue and PVRcinema failed to resolve my issue, on time, regarding failed on-line transaction of Rs. 700. I tried their phone support, email support & chat support many times to get my issue resolved and nothing worked. One fine morning, I got an idea to send email to their higher management about the issue and within 15 minutes of sending email to higher management of Ccavenue, I got first reply (not so positive but they got time to reply) and finally issue got resolved after almost 30 days.
Funny part: I left my cell no. on one consumer forum website and got call from someone asking me to resolve his failed transaction issue, he experienced with Ccavenue website. He thought, I was Ccavenue executive :). By the way, I explained him "I am not the culprit, I am the victim".
I was looking for some platform to express my grievances so I wrote some posts on consumer complaint forums, made some tweets etc. but at the end I was not happy with what I experienced. I didn't want to go to consumer court for Rs. 700 refund so I was looking for something better to share my views so companies' reputation get affected.
I've visited many consumer complaint forums and noticed few things
(1) consumer complaints forums sucks usability-wise and people hardly visit the site once they submit the complaint.
(2) even if a reputed company has a website with contact information, people find it hard to get relevant contact information
(3) there is no place where one can rate their bad consumer experience with the company effectively.
(4) company representatives are active sometime on consumer forums but their presence is not clearly visible.
This encouraged us to build some useful platform for consumers.
