I know Luffy is notoriously intimidating to write about/for/from the pov of, but I do wish more people would try to make Luffy centric fics, esp hurt comfort/whump ones. I feel like he gets a lot less attention in those kinds of fics compared to certain other characters, despite the fact that he's the most popular character in the series. And yes I know it's probably because he's considered hard to write since his thought process is an enigma wrapped in an enigma, and also since he's basically the in-universe therapy dog for every other character in the series that lends itself to him being the comforter rather than the comforted. But I think it would be a good collective exorcise for people, particularly us Luffy fans, to try to write him as the focus more often. Boost those numbers up. Also I just want more Luffy fics to read 🥲
