To celebrate the launch of Act 1 of Turnabout: An Ace Attorney Musical today, I decided to redraw a doodle I did in my high school AP Language class 15 years ago:

This is one of the first Phoenix Wright fanart pieces I ever did. 15 years of progress and 15 years of loving this musical and franchise. Hilariously, I tried to put in the same amount of effort on both of these, and just like the original doodle, slapping some shading on got away from me.

My friends @arrispect and @dianapocalypse have been working their asses off for the better part of two-ish years to bring a fan project we all worked on together Back In The Day to the stage! 

TODAY IT’S HAPPENING! You can see it AT THIS LINK at 2:30 PM EST!! 

You have to see these guys in action. They’ve got a killer cast, some of whom I’ve known for like a decade now, one of whom had a baby during this madness, and every single one of them has been working their butts off. 

If you want to download the kickass original soundtrack which has a TON of different songwriters in collaboration, including Triforcebun, @arrispect, @dianapocalypse, and many others (including myself?!), it’s amazing. It’s a hell of a romp. I also play Cody on the original soundtrack, and they cut that case from the show so I mean you should go

(Quick note about the picture: if you’ve ever met @arrispect, you have likely seen Maya’s shirt, Mia’s actress has blue hair and a Sailor Moon problem, and Phoenix’s live actor loves Zelda and also his character was originated by friggin’ TRIFORCEbun, so, yeah, Nick got a triforce.)
