you  know  than  anyone  just  how  much  lola  has  changed  over  the  past  6  ( i  think ??? ) years.  like  she  just  started  off  as  a  cute  miss  daisy  jackson,  a  random  character  i  created  because  one  of  the  characters  i  was  writing  as  in  our  rp  group  was  kidnapped,  and  the  other  was  only  in  a  few  posts,  so  i  was  getting  bored  and  needed  something  to  write  with.  she  was  just  meant  to  be  a  nice,  pretty  girl  ( v  much  a  mary  sue  character  lmao )  and  then  she  changed  so,  so  rapidly.

i  think  it  was  mostly  the  influence  of  clarke  that  made  her  what  she  is  today  lmao.  like  idk,  something  about  writing  her  with  him  made  me  realise  that  she  was  just  going  to  be  a  class  A  bitch  ????  and  then  over  years  i  modified  her  more  and  more  so  that  she  was  brought  up  to  be  what  she  is  today. 

so  here  she  is,  6  years  later,  with  a  new  name,  new  look  (brunettes  are  cooler  than  blondes  anyway)  and  10000%  more  lethal  and  vicious  than  i  ever  initially planned for  her  to  be.

things  were  getting  BAD  again;  they  always  did  around  this  time  of  year.  she  doesn’t  know  why  she  can’t  just  GET  OVER  it;  he’d  been  dead  for  years  now,  and  it’s  not  like  he  made  her  life  the  HAPPIEST  of  places  when  he  was  alive.  but  nonetheless,  every  year  around  the  anniversary  she  finds  herself  SPIRALLING  into  a  terrible  state  that  she  can’t  get  out  of  for  MONTHS.

it’s  not  like  she  can  SPEAK  about  how  she  feels;  how  her  world  is  getting  darker  and  how  her  mind  feels  as  if  it’s  closing  in  on  itself,  so  she  DEALS  with  her  pain  the  only  way  she  knows  how  ——  acting  out.

her  antics  are  CHILDISH  really.  she  starts  drinking  more,  fucking  more,  coming  home  at  god  knows  what  time  in  the  morning  and  sometimes  NEVER  coming  home  at  all.  sure,  she’d  always  been  the  PARTY  girl,  but  this  was  something  different.  she  wasn’t  drinking  to  have  FUN;  she  wasn’t  sleeping  around  to  have  a  good  time.  she  was  just  FILLING  her  days  with  senseless  activities  in  the  hope  it  would  NUMB  her  pain  for  a  few  hours.  but  all  it  did  was  make  her  WORSE.

she  didn’t  expect  beth  to  notice  and   she  certainly  didn’t  expect  beth  to  CARE,  but  for  some  reason  the  girl  has  tried  her  best  to  COAX  lola  out  of  her  toxic  headspace  over  the  past  FEW  weeks.  and  sure,  lola  has  been  doing  her  best  to  ignore  it  —-  the  lectures,  the  QUESTIONS,  the  careful  way  she’d  try  and  hide  anything  that  could  set  her  off  —–  but  today  beth  hit  a  NERVE  and  lola’s  stumbling  over  to  her,  ready  for  a  FIGHT.

she  didn’t  really  take  into  account  that  she  was  DRUNK  and  beth  was  sober  ( her  drunken  cockiness  forces  her  to  ignore  all  LOGIC )  and  the  next  thing  she  knows,  beth’s  FINGERS  are  gripped  onto  her  jaw  and  she’s  forced  to  meet  her  enemy  in  the  EYE,  much  to  her  DISTASTE.  

“leave.  me.  alone.”  she  GROWLS  at  the  other  as  she  tries  with  all  her  might  to  push  the  girl  off  her,  but  it  was  a  fight  she  couldn’t  WIN.  so  she  almost  goes  LIMP  in  the  other’s  grasp  as  she  ROLLS  her  eyes  and  starts  mumbling  shit  to  herself  in  the  hope  she  could  BLOCK  out  whatever  the  other  one  was  saying.

yes,  yes,  yes!!  anyone  that  speaks  to  me  ooc  probably  knows  i  already  have  about  3  million  faceclaims  that  i  want  to  use,  but  haven’t  had  the  chance  to  yet!  

the  main  ones  i  can  think  of  at  the  top  of  my  head  are:  

charli  xcx  ( i  currently  use  her  for  my  riverdale  oc  over  at  @slvther  but  i’m  not  really  the  biggest  fan  of  the  show/fandom  as  a  whole  and  want  to  find  a  way  to  kinda  write  outside  of  that ?? )

lily  james  ( kinda  wanted  to  use  her  for  a  human  verse  of  marie  from  the  artistocats  but  not  100%  sure  how  i’d  do  it/if  it’s  the  right  kinda  muse  for  me )

bob  morley  ( rlly  wanted  to  make  a  bellamy  blog  but  didn’t  want  to  deal  with  the  stress  of  it  so  would  love  to  use  him  for  something  else ??? )

17) What is the most disturbing aspect of your muse’s storyline?

OUT // well, that’s definitely difficult to answer… I suppose, in certain ways, a lot of Connor’s storyline could be pretty disturbing. A lot of it is also dependant on which route you take with him in game —— and I do try and keep this blog pretty open in terms of that, because I do want to try to explore all of his character, both deviant and machine pathways. 

I think, in my default verse, where Connor becomes deviant, the most disturbing fact is that… Although he becomes deviant and breaks his programming, he still isn’t technically ‘free’. Amanda, and CyberLife, can still take control of his programming whenever they want to —— he could very easily be trapped within his own body and forced to all sorts of things that he doesn’t want to, forced to hurt people. That must be TERRIFYING to have happen to you, think about the mental damage that could do. 

I know, in my version, he manages to escape when they retake control of him before he actually does any harm. But… shit, that would still leave a mental mark. I’m sure there’s some part of Connor that’s scared that it’ll happen again. Like…. damn. My poor boy.
