tattoos ; headcanon

during the modern era, the 1900′s and onward, tattoos slowly became more and more socially acceptable for people to sport. as of the present year, hades sports full sleeves, primarily dedicated to his wife, their kingdom, and his closest friends and family. the majority of the ink is flowers and thorny vines, however, curled around the smaller more personal pieces. he could easily use his godly powers to play at having them to fit in, but he does not. it is done on his actual flesh.

hades has an instagram account filled with selfies with persephone where she is making faces over his shoulder and he looks dead serious. there are pictures of his favorite flowers with her name tagged in them and pictures of weird things he finds in strange shops and markets, things that are slightly morbid or eccentric.
