Today I did absolutely nothing aside from read, drink tea and wash my hair (which is tangled and ultimately untameable). Spring is upon us! 🌞

For the first time in maybe forever, I am having a full-on pyjama day. It did start at 6.30am when the baby woke up, but then I stayed in bed for hours and hours. I was planing to write up some therapy notes from last session but I fell down a Board Games Arena hole and spent six hours playing Carcassonne online instead 🤷♀️

accidental pyjama-cosplay of the master at work today apparently... because i got dressed while half asleep and thought yes, purple checked shirt and purple checked trousers won’t look like i wore my pyjammies to the office.
Today we celebrated our last day of school with Pyjama Day and some Christmas festivities! Merry Christmas from all of the students in Room 217!

Because it’s not all about skirts and dresses! Pockets are still important when lounging about and being comfy, and I’ve been whinging for a while that pyjamas marketed at women didn’t have pockets where ones for men were almost exactly the same but usually cheaper, cosier and HAVE POCKETS! (how I found out? - by buying some ‘men’s’ pyjamas: why should they get all the fun of getting to dress up as Captain America for bedtime?)
You might be thinking the same as I did - why do people even need pockets in pyjamas? I mean, it’s ridiculous, most regular daytime trousers aimed at women don’t have functional pockets but men even get them in nightwear... But since I’ve been ill the past few days and lounging around, I’ve found these snuggly woodland animal pyjama bottoms have been invaluable for being able to carry my tissues, lipsalve and phone around the house with me. I picked the red check ones to share though because they’re next on my shopping list - now I’ve found a reliable source of pyjamas with pockets, I’m not going back!
