Currently rereading the Pykh books in audiobook form since I never read the last one. I recently reread Project Hail Mary (also in audiobook form).

Does anyone else think that Carter feels like an Andy Weir character?? Normal human dude who's also kinda a genius is thrown into a life-or-death situation in a sci-fi setting, proceeds to science his way out of it while making snappy comments and thinking of himself alternately as a normal dude who shouldn't be in this situation and the smartest man alive.

Throw some alien sex into PHM (maybe not with Rocky, he's baby) and it could be Grace
