HCS ABOUT MY V (Cyberpunk 2077)

1. Full name is Vex Vines! Comes from a corpo background, his family branches out to work for multiple corporations, but his parents both worked for Arasaka.

2. Followed in their parent's footsteps, grew up in a world of politics, where anyone could have a knife behind anyone's back.

3. Learned what empathy was way later than he should have. Started sneaking out to make friends with Street Kids! Got in a shit ton of trouble.

4. Picked up netrunning, and RAN with it. The joy that comes with watching something fall apart with nothing but a tap of his head is cyberpsycho shit for him.

5. JACKIE. Jackie was one of the first human connections they made. Selfless kindness was unheard of until Jackie came along and saved their ass. These two were BEST BROS.

6. Maybe had a little crush on Jackie. Didn't get to tell him before he died. Don't worry about it.

7. Pre-Relic Vex is MUCH more jaded and professional. Does the job, no questions asked.

8. Post-Relic Vex asks questions. They're scrambling to hold onto life, because they realised they don't wanna die yet. So, the idea of leaving any stone unturned is terrifying. What if there's a solution under there?

9. Bastard. Piece of shit. He hides on rooftops and snickers while gangoons scramble to find out who the fuck is synapse collapsing them one by one.

10. Carries himself like he ownes every place he walks into. Sometimes he needs to be called a pompous ass to make him realise he ain't king of the world.

11. Drives a Caliburn. Idk it's fitting.

12. Johnny and him are two peas in a pod. If the two peas were 🤏 this close to biting eachother's heads off. Begrudging alliance

13. Loves Samurai's music. Like, LOVES it. Cried while listening to Never Fade Away. Don't tell Johnny.

Something something good!Tav being found by Astarion, bloodied from battle and gore, having razed through countless bodies in a ruthlessness that had never seen from them before. Presumably being tortured, their spirit broken, their morality fractured in the pursuit of safety.

Yet, they see him and their eyes immediately soften, a desperation, a plea in his name as they whisper it in a calling.

The paragon of all that was once good kneeling at his feet, clutching him and sobbing, begging for comfort for the horrors they've seen, that they've caused. Begging for forgiveness for the lives they've taken, for the atrocities committed.

He can't help but wonder if once, these roles were meant to have been switched.
