it’s awful. i love martin as an actor and i think he’s extremely talented but that whole thing was completely unnecessary and it wasn’t john watson, it was martin freeman doing a role.
the last time we saw john watson he was looking softly and lovingly at sherlock on the plane. the abusive asshole mofftiss created for s4 and martin had no choice but to play does not deserve to call himself john watson.
