He was surprised that his work didn’t require him to go to Solias much. The crime rate in the summery region was a bit higher than anticipated, but a job was a job, and he’d take it.
However, he didn’t expect to be one actually playing the hero for one of his jobs. He normally killed off rival mafia bosses, or made an example of others. Right now, he was surprisingly hunting down some sick criminal that had previously attacked a poor girl. Kylo, being Kylo, was in it only for the money, and when the father offered him to pay a hefty price to take down this creep, he had to take the job. Unfortunately, however, there was always obstacles in his work.
One obstacle being finding a street gang ready to mug what looked like some random teenage boy.
Why did he have to get himself involved? Maybe it was because this job required him to be the good guy.
One of the gang members had been clearly stalking the kid for a while, and raised his elbow to hit him in the head. That was when Kylo came in, lurching over and hitting the criminal in the back. That’s when he looked up at the nineteen year old, breathing heavily. The gang would be coming to back up their leader, but he had a few brief seconds to meet the teen’s golden eyes.
“You need to watch yourself.” He heard footsteps running up behind him, and quickly stood up, roundhouse kicking the thug that was ready to hit him with a baseball bat. “Because of people like that.”
