“Yes,” Kathryn said.
Chakotay stood before her, a stranger in her friend’s clothing.
“Then I guess I should thank you both,” he said, and left her.

Happy @25daysofvoyager! This is my entry for December 20th.
Janeway, in denial of her own feelings, wishes for Chakotay to not love her anymore, so he can be happy. But she has no idea what that wish will change.

“Don’t waste your wish,” Q tsked. “I will leave after you make your wish and I’ve granted you your well-deserved present. So what do you want? Wait! I know. It’s Chuckles, isn’t it? I can hand deliver him to you in a bow.”
Kathryn glared at him.
“I don’t want him,” she said. “I’ve already destroyed him! He wishes he’d never loved me. For his sake, I wish he didn’t love me either.”
“Granted,” Q smirked with a snap of his fingers, and disappeared.
I wrote more silly fic to soothe both my desire for more Star Trek and my disappointment in how Discovery turned out.
Q replaced the entire crew of the Discovery except for Pike with copies of Q to make a point how the bridge crew can’t seem to work together. In progress.
